Healing Action Service Coordinator (AmeriCorps State) - FT

Healing Action Public Health AmeriCorps Program will provide opportunities to make significant impact in the lives of adult survivors of CSE and experiences for members to grow in their education and career goals. During the 2024-2025 grant year, 9 AmeriCorps State Members will be recruited to serve in various programs in the organization. AmeriCorps Members will work alongside clinicians to provide trauma-informed services to adult survivors of CSE through case management and counseling. Members will also work to improve awareness and education in the state of Missouri by providing training for community members and other organizations that intersect with survivors of CSE. Member training will include an initial orientation, CPR/First Aid certification, Opioid and Naloxone Distribution education, disaster preparedness/response, professional development, Life-After AmeriCorps, the Show-Me Conference and more. Members will also serve the greater St. Louis community through service days such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
